This chart is the sixth in a series of nine "Early American" blocks. This is a patriotic series of houses from well known historical figures from America's founding. You can stitch them individually or all together on one piece of fabric. The called for fabric is 30 count Tin Roof linen from Weeks Dye Works.
The pattern is charted with Classic Colorworks Floss as follows: Blue Corn, Eggshell, English Ivy, Hickory Sticks, Muddy Puddle, Onion Skin, Sunkissed, Timber, Wagon Wheel & Ye Olde Gold.
Design stitchcount is: 69 x 69
When stitching all nine patterns in the series as one large design, the piece will measure 14 1/2" square when using the recommended 30 count fabric. Leave three stitch-spaces between each block. The total stitch count of the large design is: 213 x 213.
